Summer Training FAQs

How do I register for summer trainings?

There is a registration link on both the home page and the Summer Training Info page.

Can I join if this is my first year of volleyball?

Yes you can join if you have never played beach volleyball! I am here to share the love of the game and anyone that is interested is welcome. We prefer one year of club volleyball

What is Sandfit?

SandFit is free summer sand speed and jump workouts They are built to supplement the beach volleyball training I run during the week. I focus on increasing speed, verticals, and endurance during sandfit for beach volleyball.

What do I need at trainings?

Practice checklist:
Lots of water, Sand socks, Hat/visor, Sunblock, Long sleeves/extra layers (for rainy practice)
Ready to have some fun!

Do we train in the rain/wind?

Yes, we live in the PNW, and we practice when it's rainy and windy. As beach volleyball players, we need to learn to play in the elements.
If there is thunder and lightning or I feel there is a potential injury that could occur due to weather, we will reschedule and make it up

Tournament FAQs:

How do I sign up for tournaments?

Simple Email or Txt Coach Madi before 10 pm on the Thursday before the tournament.
Payment prior to the tournament secures your spot. If you plan to pay the day of, please email prior to the tournament.

Do I need a partner?

For tournaments, you will need a partner to participate. If you don’t have one we can try and match you up with someone during training sessions.

What do I need at a tournament?

Players will need
Water/food or a full day of playing
Sand socks
Layers (mornings can be chilly)
Bring your own Warm-up ball

Parents/spectators during tournaments

At the Frenchman's bar, there is ample space for parents/spectators to set up tents and watch the players. You will need food/water for a full day of playing.
Parents are not allowed to coach players during tournament play, only timeouts or in-between sets.
